The 11th Annual Outfest Fusion LGBT People of Color Film Festival will run in Los Angeles, March 14-16. Established in 2004, Fusion includes film screenings as well as Fusion Lab, a collection of films and classes, and InFusion, a program that connects emerging and established filmmakers.
The 2013 Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival wrapped up yesterday and awards were handed out to some of the best new LGBT films. Among the recipients was Bridegroom, the story of discrimination faced by Shane Bitney Crone in the wake of his partner's death. The film received the Audience Award for Outstanding Documentary Feature Film.

The schedule for the Outfest Fusion LGBT People of Color Film Festival was announced yesterday. Fusion 2013 will be held in Los Angeles on Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23 with films playing at both the Egyptian Theatre and the REDCAT Theatre.
The 8th Annual Outfest Legacy Awards will be held at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on October 13. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will be honored with the Visionary Award in recognition of their contributions to LGBT visibility in the arts and the media and the restored 1919 film 'Different From the Others' will screen.
