An NBC affiliate station based out of Salt Lake City, Utah has said it will not run the upcoming sitcom The New Normal because of its content. The New Normal follows a gay couple’s attempts to start a family with the help of a surrogate.

After weeks of speculation, DC Comics confirmed today that the iconic superhero they would reveal as gay is none other than the original Green Lantern, Alan Scott, who will be seen kissing his boyfriend in next week’s issue of Earth 2.
