Nintendo releases new statement, promises to make future Tomodachi Life games "more inclusive and better represent all players"

Nintendo, publisher of upcoming game Tomodachi Life, released a new statement today promising to make any future games in the series inclusive of same-sex relationships. "We will strive to design a game-play experience from the ground up that is more inclusive, and better represents all players," they said.

Nintendo releases statement saying same-sex relationship options will not be included in 'Tomodachi Life'

Following outcry from fans that upcoming game Tomodachi Life would allow opposite-sex characters to date and marry one another, but not same-sex characters, publisher Nintendo released a statement saying they were “not trying to provide social commentary.” Unfortunately by continuing to limit the options available to players, Nintendo is doing just that.
