MTV, VH1, CMT, BET, Logo, TV Land, TeenNick, Paramount Pictures and Jersey Shore are going purple this Friday for #SpiritDay in a stand against bullying and to show their support for LGBT youth!

The 64th Annual Emmy Awards aired last night on ABC, and the host network's Modern Family took home the award for Best Comedy Series and two acting awards. In addition to Julie Bowen winning Best Supporting Actress, Eric Stonestreet won Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of gay father Cameron, and said onstage how proud he was to play part of TV's favorite LGBT family.

MTV's O Music Awards are hosting a dance party in Los Angeles this Sunday, October 30, to Monday, October 31, in hopes of setting the Guinness World Record for the Longest Choreographed Dance, which will hopefully amount to a full 24 hours. In the process of setting a new record, the O Music Awards are taking a stand against bullying by raising funds for several LGBT organizations in lieu of National Bullying Prevention Month.

Right now the Jersey Shore stars are gearing up for tonight's Italian set season finale, but four of them were celebrating Spirit Day today in some creative ways.

In honor of Spirit Day, MTV went purple across the board.
