The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Massachusetts on February 15th passed along a directive to schools which onlines new policies protecting transgender students.
Last month, GLAAD and the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) announced the upcoming national launch of the “I AM: Trans People Speak” video campaign. The campaign has since received considerable attention from advocates and the media, and more user-created videos have been added to the campaign’s video channel. After outreach from GLAAD, Boston's #1 rated radio station will now air a series of PSAs about the need to protect transgender people from discrimination.
