It's not too late to get your tickets to Lesbians Who Tech Summit New York, which runs from June 19-22.
In honor of Women's History Month, I asked a few of the women at GLAAD or their thoughts on women in the LGBT movement. Here's what they had to say:
Today is the first day of Women's History Month, which means it is time to reflect on the past milestones for women, examine the issues facing women today, and celebrate the incredible women who are working to change lives around the world.
Last week, transgender advocate Alexis Rivera passed away from complications related to HIV. Rivera was 34 years old and worked as Policy Advocate at the Transgender Law Center in San Francisco since 2007. GLAAD offers deepest condolences to her friends, family, and all who loved her.
March is Women's History Month, a time to give special notice to the role women have played in our history and culture. This month, GLAAD will be highlighting the achievements of LGBT women throughout history.
