Director David France and founder of Treatment Action Group (TAG) Peter Staley were presented with the Outstanding Documentary award by Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) at the GLAAD Media Awards in New York on Saturday night for 'How to Survive a Plague.'

How to Survive a Plague filmmaker David France is currently working with ABC Studios to develop a miniseries based on his documentary, which will take a deeper look at the personal stories behind the HIV/AIDS advocacy movements of the 1980s.
