Today, transgender organziations across the country are joining millions of people to go purple for Spirit Day to take a stand against bullying and show support for LGBT youth. Check out some of the great organizations showing their purple today below.
The Hetrick-Martin Institute is a nonprofit organization that serves the needs of LGBT youth. GLAAD visited its location in downtown New York City and interviewed LGBT young people about being bullied. They shared their experiences with bullying and how bullying has affected their lives.
