Telemundo’s sleek, modern and provocative novela, “Relaciones Peligrosas” (“Dangerous Affairs”) breaks the mold in terms of LGBT-inclusive novelas with its fair depiction of the highs and lows in the life of the novela’s--so far--only gay character. It airs weeknights at 10PM/9PM Central on Telemundo.

The United States Commission on Civil Rights has recently delivered a report to Congress and the President titled "Peer-to-Peer Violence and Bullying: Examining the Federal Response," assessing the impact of bullying and violence in schools.

Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal wrote a letter, which was addressed to the LGBT community, apologizing for anti-gay statements he made last month.

"Ohio must have the courage to confront bullying," said Ed Mullen, the executive director of Equality Ohio. "Until our state's laws and school policies specifically address this problem, bullying will continue unabated and schools will remain unsafe."

Daytime television's brightest stars were among the millions of Americans who wore purple for Spirit Day 2011. In doing so, they sent a powerful message of support to LGBT youth and took an important stand against bullying.
