The UPS Foundation today joined a growing number of corporate leaders in providing financial support to those organizations that align with the company’s non-discrimination policy. Under this policy, the Boy Scouts of America is no longer eligible for grants from the UPS Foundation because of the BSA's ban on gay scouts and scout leaders.

Eagle Scout, author and LGBT ally Zach Wahls has launched a petition on Change.org calling for UPS to stop funding the Boy Scouts of America in light of the organization’s anti-gay policy.
Less than 48 hours ago, Eagle Scout Zach Wahls, founder of Scouts for Equality, launched a campaign on Change.org supported by GLAAD and signed by more than 30,000 Americans urging Intel to pull funding from the Boy Scouts of America. Today Intel announced that it has stopped funding BSA troops that follow the discriminatory national policy.
GLAAD is joining Scouts for Equality, its founder and Eagle Scout Zach Wahls, as well as thousands of Americans in a Change.org campaign urging Intel Corporation, one of the Boy Scouts of America’s largest corporate donors, to stop funding the BSA until the organization removes its ban on gay scouts and leaders.
A new petition campaign on Change.org with more than 2,000 signatures is urging the Boy Scouts' Kentucky-based Lincoln Heritage Council to reject the national organization's discriminatory ban on gay scouts and leaders, and to reinstate a local gay Boy Scouts leader.
