Quinnipiac University released a poll indicating that a majority of Americans believe that the Boy Scouts of America should drop their ban on openly gay members.
After anti-gay activists began claiming that opening the Boy Scouts to openly gay scouts and leaders would put kids in danger, more than 120 experts from the fields of sexual abuse prevention, psychology, psychiatry, child advocacy, faith outreach, education and coaching have co-signed an open letter saying this is not the case.
