Uganda: LGBT Ugandans march for equality as the anti-LGBT law becomes invalidated
After the Ugandan court invalidated a controversial anti-gay law, approximately 200 people gathered at the botanical gardens in the lakeside town of Entebbe on August 9th to march for LGBT equality.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver focused on how far the United States has come in terms of LGBT equality, especially compared to other countries like Uganda. Oliver briefly discussed some of the anti-gay laws in Uganda, and then welcomed Pepe Onziema, a transgender Ugandan human rights activist.
