The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced this Wednesday the nominees for the 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. Among the nominees are many LGBT-inclusive shows, which feature some of the most prominent out characters and personalities in daytime television.

On today's episode of 'Anderson Live' Anderson Cooper and co-host Lisa Rinna discuss the news that Cooper will be honored with the Vito Russo Award at the NYC GLAAD Media Awards on March 16 and his award will be presented by longtime friend Madonna.

Today "Anderson Live" featured Kylan Arianna Wenzel, a trans woman competing in the Miss California USA pageant. Unfortunately, Cooper's co-host asked irrelevant and offensive questions.
