GLAAD invites you to join us for Spirit Day Los Angeles, a soiree that recognizes the significance of one of GLAAD's most visible programmatic initiatives: Spirit Day.
Millions wear purple on Spirit Day in a stand against bullying and to show their support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth. Observed annually since 2010, individuals, schools, organizations, corporations, and public figures wear purple, which symbolizes 'spirit' on the rainbow flag.
Tickets are FREE
All proceeds support GLAAD’s work with the media to bring culture-changing stories of LGBT people to millions of homes and workplaces every day in an effort to increase understanding and awareness to build support for full equality.
