GLAAD is proud to announce our 2nd Annual National People of Color Media Training Institute, funded by the Arcus Foundation and created specifically for people of color who are LGBT or LGBT allies.
Apply today to be part of a group of passionate and visible leaders to speak in national media outlets about issues that impact the lives of LGBT people and our families. Americans need to hear your story!
The Institute will consist of a two-day, training program in New York (August 24-26) and Los Angeles (September 7-9), where GLAAD staff, leading journalists and talking heads and key media trainers will develop Institute participants with best practices for on-camera and radio interviews.
The deadline for all materials is June 1, 2012.
