The Cultural Interest Media Project is an umbrella project at GLAAD that focuses on the promotion of fair, accurate and inclusive representation in the media of the diversity within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. We encourage you to read about the projects and get involved!

The Cultural Interest Media Project currently has three initiatives which focuses on specific communities:

Communities of Color
MediaFocus: Communities of Color focuses on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people of color in the media.

Bisexual Visibility
MediaFocus: Bisexual Visibility focuses on bisexuality in the media.

Transgender & Intersex Visibility
MediaFocus: Transgender & Intersex Visibility focuses on the transgender and intersex community in the media.
