NEW YORK, NY – In a historic first, New York-area Boy Scouts and members of the Brooklyn Chapter of Scouts for Equality, an organization composed largely of Boy Scouts of America (BSA) alumni dedicated to ending the BSA’s ban on gay members and leaders, will be among the groups leading the 44th Annual NYC Pride March, the nation's oldest and largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) pride event.
NEW YORK, NY – GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization working with Instagram, announced the launch of #PridePortraits, a photo campaign that showcases the diversity of LGBT people and their families during LGBT Pride month. GLAAD also announced that three lucky Instagrammers will be selected to gain exclusive access to NYC Pride, including a special performance by pop music sensation Demi Lovato.
LOS ANGELES, CA - GLAAD, the nation’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization, and American Apparel, the vertically integrated clothing manufacturer based in downtown Los Angeles, today announced a renewal of their annual pride partnership with a newly designed t-shirt to be released in conjunction with LGBT Pride Month. Fifteen percent of all net sales will benefit GLAAD’s work to rewrite the script for LGBT equality.

Sam will become the first-ever openly gay footballer to play for the league next season.
