White House Responds To Claim That Obama And Santorum Agree On Marriage Equality

During Tuesday's White House Press Briefing, Press Secretary Jay Carney was asked to respond to former Sen. Rick Santorum's (R-Pa.) claim that President Obama shares his position on marriage for same-sex couples. Carney: “I have no updates for you on the President’s position on same-sex marriage. I think that you know and others here know and understand his position broadly on LGBT issues is quite significantly different from that particular candidate’s views.”
