Virginia Senate Approves Bill Allowing Private Adoption Agencies to Discriminate

The Virginia state Senate voted 22-18 to pass a bill allowing private adoption agencies to discriminate against lesbian and gay parents. The bill now goes to Gov. Bob McDonnell (R), who has said he will sign it.
