Two openly gay candidates file for state House seats in Broward, FL

The Florida Democratic Party's gay, lesbian, bixexual, transgender Democratic caucus said Monday that two of its members are running for Florida House of Representatives seats next year from Broward.
Last year Florida got its first two openly gay legislators, from Orlando and Miami Beach.
Scott Herman and John Paul Alvarez hope to join their ranks.
