Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce: Statewide Anti-Discrimination Law Good For Business

The Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce last week voiced its support for a statewide law banning discrimination in employment and housing against LGBT people. President Lane Beattie said, "We just feel when it comes to [nondiscrimination] we need to have it on a statewide basis. We feel it’s an unwise policy to have it just limited to certain cities where they end up with a patchwork of follow-through on such an important issue."
