Rutgers Defendant Wrote of Keeping ‘Gays Away’

Text messages revealed in the Dharun Ravi trial on Monday show that Ravi told friend Michelle Huang to watch a feed from a webcam expected to show Tyler Clementi involved in a sexual encounter with another man on Sept. 21, 2010. After Huang suggested Clementi and the man might use Ravi's bed for their encounter, Ravi replied, “My webcam checks my bed, hahaha [...] Yeah, keep the gays away.”
