President Obama Congratulates Brooklyn Newlyweds

Matt Katz and Aaron Lafrenz got married on July 23, 2011, and went to Brooklyn's borough hall the next day to become one of New York's first married gay couples. The couple received a letter signed by President Obama, congratulating them on their wedding.
