Portland police arrested a man accused of assaulting a gay couple in downtown Portland last week but said they are still looking for a second suspect who showed a knife during the fight and helped damage an SUV.

Paul Anthony Martinson, 39, faces charges of assault, intimidation and criminal mischief in connection with the Wednesday incident, said Sgt. Pete Simpson, a police spokesman.
