Pa. School District Reaches Settlement Over Partner Protections

Pennsylvania's state College Area School District this week agreed to pay a $42,500 settlement in a case filed by a guidance counselor who alleged discrimination because the district would not extend health care protections to her partner. The district also agreed to pay $47,000 in attorney fees.
