Brian Carroll announced today that he will seek a seat in the Colorado state House of Representatives. Carroll, an out gay man, served openly in Afghanistan and Iraq as part of the Army Special Forces Information Management Division, Special Operations Command. He is the first out gay servicemember to run for office since the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell.
