Ohio AG Seeks Dismissal In Marriage Challenge

Ohio’s attorney general has asked the state’s highest court to dismiss a legal challenge to a proposed constitutional amendment that would allow marriage equality in the state.
Attorney General Mike DeWine said in a motion filed Friday that the Ohio Supreme Court lacked jurisdiction over the legal challenge by opponents of the measure.
