Missouri Teachers Critical of ‘Don’t Say Gay’ Bill

Some local educators say the “don’t say gay” bill proposed in the Missouri General Assembly would hinder classroom discussions.
The bill, HB2051, is sponsored by Rep. Steve Cookson, R-Fairdealing, and it “prohibits the discussion of sexual orientation in public school instruction, material or extracurricular activity except in the scientific instruction of human reproduction.”
