Minnesota Vikings’ Chris Kluwe says it loud and he says it proud – He’s an ally and advocate of gay rights. The 31-year-old NFL punter Tweeted last week that he’ll be the grand marshal for Twin Cities Gay Pride Parade in Minnesota. Also, thank you @TwinCitiesPride for honoring me with the grand marshal position. Really looking forward to the event! #practicingmywave Kluwe, who was raised in Seal Beach and resides in Huntington Beach, made an outspoken, public stance last year in favor of marriage equality after ex-Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo was rebuked by a Maryland delegate following Ayanbadejo’s comments supporting gay marriage
