The Anoka-Hennepin School Board on Monday voted to settle a pair of lawsuits over its policy that required teachers to remain "neutral" on matters relating to LGBT people. The district agreed to measures to help address and prevent harassment of LGBT people. Under the settlement, six students who brought lawsuits against the district will receive a total of $270,000 in damages.
