Md. House Committees Approve Marriage Bill

Two committees in the Maryland House of Delegates voted Tuesday to approve a same-sex marriage bill.
Gov. Martin O’Malley introduced the Civil Marriage Protection Act as part of his legislative package. The bill now moves to the full House for a vote where a similar measure died last year.
