Maryland Marriage Bill Backed By Senate Panel

The Maryland state Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee voted 7-4 on Tuesday to pass the state's proposed marriage equality bill. The full state Senate is scheduled to begin debate on the bill as early as Wednesday.
