LGBT Groups Organizing Viewing Parties To Support Chaz Bono

This upcoming 19 September, the ABC show Dancing With The Stars will be featuring Chaz Bono, the first transsexual contenstant on the show, and one of two openly LGBT contestants for the season. GetEQUAL and the Transgender Law Center have announced that they are going to be organizing viewing parties across the country to celebrate Bono’s participation in the contest as well as to demand critical federal and state rights and protections for the trans community.
