Note from GLAAD
Ross Murray, Director of News and Faith Initiatives at GLAADOn Tuesday, conservatives in Minnesota are hoping to put the contentious issue of marriage beyond reach. Like the court, they’re using coercion first — using a constitution to rob opponents of power — and hoping persuasion will follow.
Though America seems riven along party lines, the U.S. Constitution and the constitutions of each state are bulwarks of stability. They’re solid ground, not battlegrounds. Let’s keep it that way. Vote no.
