Gay Navy Linguist Reinstated

Petty Officer 2nd Class Jase Daniels, who was discharged from the Navy in 2007 after being featured in a story in Stars & Stripes, was sworn back into the Navy on Monday. Servicemembers Legal Defense Network's Aubrey Sarvis said the reinstatement of Daniels "underscores that all qualified and needed service members are now officially welcomed back into the ranks."
