Gay Man Attacked in Downtown Athens, Ga.

A 22-year-old openly gay man was attacked on Wednesday in Athens, Ga., by two men who reportedly called him anti-gay slurs. The victim wanted to report the assault as a hate crime, but police are investigated it as aggravated battery.
