Former Denver mayor Webb says marriage equality next step after civil unions

Former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb on Saturday confirmed the fears of some Republicans, saying civil unions aren't enough and the next step for same sex-couples is gay marriage. Webb, who served three terms as mayor, reminded Coloradans of his long history on behalf of civil rights when he received the Colorado Democratic Party's Lifetime Achievement Award.
