Equality North Carolina Names New Director

Stuart Campbell will be the next executive director of Equality North Carolina, it was announced on Wednesday. The Texas anti-poverty advocate will be going into a battleground state where an amendment to ban same-sex marriage is being put before the voters next year. Campbell has experience with this as he was on the board of Equality Texas when they had to fight that state’s 2005 amendment. Unfortunately, that one passed.
