Ross Murray, Director of News and Faith Initiatives at GLAADDenied his invitation to speak at Sacred Heart Academy’s 2012 commencement invitation, Dominic Sheahan-Stahl is now getting a different public platform.
New York resident Sheahan-Stahl was named as one of the 10 lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pro-faith voices of the year by GLAAD.
“First I was shocked, I was like, ‘oh my gosh, really?’” Sheahan-Stahl said. “And then I was like, ‘well, you know, what I’ve set out to do so far is still going strong.’”
