Defense Bill Conference Report Strips Anti-Gay House Language, Keeps Military Sodomy Ban

Servicemembers Legal Defense Network on Monday announced that both amendments opposed by LGBT advocates in the House version of the National Defense Authorization were dropped from a conference report. SLDN also said that a provision in the Senate version of the bill that would have repealed the so-called sodomy ban was not included in the conference report.
