A special session to consider civil unions for same-sex couples will start Monday.
A spokesman for Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper said more details about the upcoming session would be announced later Thursday.
Hickenlooper announced his plan to call for a special session on Wednesday - the final day of the regular session - after the civil unions measure failed without a vote in a late-night standoff in the Republican House.
