Gov. Chris Christie says marriage advocates that don’t want to put the issue up for a popular vote are afraid of losing.
“They say it’s not appropriate to put civil rights up for a vote,” Christie said at a town hall meeting in Somerset on Thursday. “Well, sounds to me like people who are afraid they’re going to lose.”
