A new poll commissioned by Marylanders for Marriage Equality shows 52 percent of respondents would “probably” or “definitely” vote for the marriage equality bill if it is on the ballot in November. The survey showed that 44 percent would “probably” or “definitely” vote the measure down.
After the new bill goes into effect, the teaching of sex education in Utah classrooms has to be about not having sex before marriage and fidelity within marriage. Teachers cannot advocate the use of contraceptives anymore and they cannot talk about gay people, even if asked by a student.
