Advocates Protest Mistreatment of Transgender People in D.C.

Transgender advocates in Washington, D.C., on Thursday presented demands to the D.C. police department, the U.S. Attorney's Office and other officials seeking better ways of tracking crimes targeting transgender people. The action came in response to the attacks on at least 20 transgender people in the city since July.
