The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives. 

19TH ANNUAL GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS AIRS ON BRAVO JUNE 27 AT 7 PM ET/PT

In March GLAAD announced an exclusive agreement with Bravo, its new broadcast partner, to telecast the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards later this year. The national media advocacy organization has presented the GLAAD Media Awards annually since 1990, but this will be the first televised airing of the celebration on a fully distributed national cable network.
