OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today they will be creating a multi-part documentary series following Michael Sam's journey as he made history and became the first openly gay player to be drafted into the National Football League (NFL).

The American Family Association's senior issue analyst, Bryan Fischer, thinks NFL draftee Michael Sam, by simple virtue of being a gay man, is "the sexual equivalent of a brain concussion." And according to the AFA's top staffer, the NFL should be forcing Sam into scientifically-shunned "reparative therapy."
