Bryan Fischer's statements prove a liability for American Family Association, cost him his high-profile job

Bryan Fischer, whose inflammatory statements have been documented through GLAAD's Commentator Accountability Project, has gone too far for his employer, the American Family Association (AFA). Leaders of the AFA shared with the Rachel Maddow show that he should no longer be referred to as the Director of Issues Analysis for the organization.

Mormon hierarchy calls for freedom to ignore laws that protect LGBT people from discrimination

Leaders from the Church of Latter Day Saints, or the Mormons, held a press conference today, stating that the church would, in undetermined cases, support non-discrimination laws that protect LGBT people. However, in return, the church stated that it would not change its beliefs about LGBT people, and would continue to support broad religious exemptions that undermine those laws.

Gary Sinise bows out of Legatus summit, followed by Bret Baier and Pete Coors

The conservative Catholic organization Legatus is finding that its extreme and alienating anti-LGBT rhetoric is harming its reputation and ability to retain mainstream speakers. Just this week, actor Gary Sinise, Fox News anchor Bret Baier, and Molson Coors chairman Pete Coors, have all cancelled appearances at the Legatus annual conference, citing the controversial and extreme positions the organization has taken in regard to the LGBT community.
