"A little lemonade can go a long way," and that's exactly what happened when 5 and a half year old Jayden Sink decided to sell her Pink Lemonade for Peace this weekend. Her stand was located in front of the beautifully-painted rainbow Equality House that is located across from the anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church.

For the past few years, the anti-LGBT organization Focus on the Family has been trying to rebrand the event once known as the Day Of Truth so that it seems much less dogmatic than it was when it was controlled by the "ex-gay" organization Exodus International. This cosmetic change is reflected in the new name that Focus on the Family gave its event: Day of Dialogue.

It was just a year ago when Sheahan-Stahl, a successful actor and performer, was invited by his high school—Sacred Heart Academy in Mount Pleasant, Michigan—to be the keynote speaker at the 2012 graduation. Now a year later, his Live Through Love Foundation is announcing its first scholarship to an openly LGBT high school student.

Nicholas Coppola, the Catholic man stripped of all volunteer duties after he married his husband, has launched a Change.org petition, inviting Cardinal Timothy Dolan to dinner and conversation about the relationship between the Roman Catholic hierarchy and LGBT people.

Nicholas Coppola, the gay Catholic man who was removed from his volunteer ministerial responsibilities at his Long Island parish after marrying his longtime partner, delivered a petition calling for his reinstatement to his bishop. In less than a week, the petition garnered over 18,000 signatures.

Biola University professor Erik Thoennes equated having an LGBTQ identity with being a racist at a school-sponsored panel in September of 2012. Audio of his comments were only recently released. Because LGBTQ students are at risk for expulsion at Biola, it has taken months for them to organize. However, with the help of openly-queer alum Jos Charles, a petition was finally started.

Nicholas Coppola, the gay man who was stripped of his involvement with his local Roman Catholic parish, delivered 18,603 signatures to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, requesting to be restored to full engagement with his local parish. The signatures were gathered through the social justice organization, Faithful America in less than one week after launching the campaign.

Today April 10 is National Immigration Day of Action, a day where organizations and advocates across the country march to pressure Congress to pass fair and humane comprehensive immigration reform, and over 25 LGBT organizations are standing in solidarity.
