GLAAD Media Award recipients were announced in 16 of this year's 33 media categories at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, presented nationally by Ketel One Vodka and Wells Fargo and locally by Delta Air Lines at the New York Marriott Marquis and Suites in New York on Saturday night.

Jon Huntsman's three daughters, the conservative pundit S.E. Cupp, and a number of other young media industry figures have joined "Young Conservatives for the Freedom to Marry," a same-sex marriage advocacy group.
A well-known attorney due to ask the U.S. Supreme Court this month to strike down a California law banning same-sex marriage says the high court may very well present a united front in favor of gay and lesbian rights.
