A new Change.org petition has been launched calling on the Indigo Girls and other performers at the 2013 Michigan Womyn's Music Festival to pull out and boycott the festival until they adopt a policy that would allow transgender women to attend.

MTV kicked off this year’s Halloween celebration at The Roxy Theatre on Sunset on Sunday, October 30, with a plan to set a world record for the longest choreographed dance marathon to raise money for anti-bullying and LGBT advocacy.

MTV's O Music Awards are hosting a dance party in Los Angeles this Sunday, October 30, to Monday, October 31, in hopes of setting the Guinness World Record for the Longest Choreographed Dance, which will hopefully amount to a full 24 hours. In the process of setting a new record, the O Music Awards are taking a stand against bullying by raising funds for several LGBT organizations in lieu of National Bullying Prevention Month.
