One of the selection criteria for the GLAAD Media Awards is "fair, accurate and inclusive representations," meaning nominees include diverse stories about multi-dimensional LGBT representations rather than focus on broad stereotypes. Media representations of the bisexual community are infrequent and often sensationalized or inaccurate, but this year saw several nomination-worthy and bi-inclusive media projects.
