Charice Pempengco, the international recording artist who appeared in several episodes of Glee, came out as a lesbian over the weekend in an interview with the Filipino program The Buzz. "Yes, I am a tomboy," she said, using a common Filipino colloquial term for lesbian. "I don't know what's the problem with that. Because for me there isn't a problem with that."

My son has had a huge crush on Blaine, a popular character on Glee played by Darren Criss, for two years now. Fast-forward a few months, and Darren Criss announced a 16-city concert tour. The tour wasn't coming to our city, but it was coming within (long) driving distance. We had to make it work.
